How to Use This Website

This website is an online community for young people around the world (mainly aged around 10 to 15 years) who want to think for themselves about the environment and society, learn from each other, communicate, and take action.

Site Features

What Do You Think?

Once every one to two months, the Miracle Miracle management team will present a question. The format of these questions will be simple. You will be asked to either type a short response or choose the most appropriate answer from a list. Become a Miracle Kid by answering one of these questions first.

Ask the World

This is where you can exchange ideas and opinions with other kids around the world. Try asking one of those big Why? questions that pop up in your mind from day to day, or answer someone else's question. You may also send us photos. Please be sure to obey the Rules and Manners when communicating with others, and have fun!

Miracle Report

Once a week, this section will feature a new exciting story about things happening in cities and towns around the world, how animals live, the way natural systems work, and other topics. If you have a story about your hometown that you would like to share, please send it to us using the link below.

Kids Changing the World

Ever have the urge to do something to help protect the environment or save people who are in trouble, but not know what to do? This is where we talk about the amazing efforts of children (or adults back when they were children) who actually took action.

How the Earth Works

Here we explain in easy language basic, useful knowledge about global warming, energy, and other environmental issues. Read this when there are things you don't understand or things you want to learn more about.

Rules and Manners

These are precautions to be followed especially when using Ask the World. Be careful of the following three points so everyone can have a pleasant Miracle Miracle experience.

Think of Other People's Feelings

Communicating over the Internet makes it harder to understand other people's feelings than when talking with them face-to-face. Think about whether or not your words can upset the person you are writing to, and be respectful in the things you write.

Be Visible

We ask you to write your name, age, and the country where you live whenever you send a question or answer for What Do You Think? and Ask the World. You can use a nickname instead of your real name. Use the same name every time and someone on the other side of the world might remember you!

Don't Give Away Private Information

Except in special situations, we will never ask you to tell us your home address, telephone number, or other private information other than your name, age, and country. Please do not write private information.

Note: How to send photos

Photos up to 2MB can be uploaded on our website. When you use photos of your family or friends, be sure to tell them beforehand. If you have any questions, consult with adults.

Language Features

This site works in both English and Japanese. English messages are translated and posted in Japanese, and Japanese messages come out in English. Discover the joys of being connected and communicating with other kids living abroad.

To go to the Japanese site from the English site, click on 日本語 at the top of the page. You can return to the English site by clicking on "English" on the Japanese site. Learn some Japanese by comparing the two sites!

Please note that because translation takes time, there may be a lag between when you submit your question or answer and when it is posted on the website.
